Since the late 1970s, I have been making mixtapes...for myself, for friends, for lovers, for my car...but mostly for myself. They're now no longer 90 minute cassettes...they're 80 minute CDs. Best songs of the year, songs about New York, songs with a girl's name as the title, feel good songs, Australian songs (for my friends in London), road trip songs, songs about days of the week...There are endless possibilities for mixetapers.
